Wiki's broken. Page is out of date. Ain't it always the way?
Bible project's going well, tho.
- I built a website and repository for Patrick's ambitious Illustrated Bible Project. Patrick aims to have an illustration for each and every verse of the Old Testament, New Testament, and much of the Apocrypha. That's 36,665 verses! Pitch in; he could use the help.
- I've created a basic linux-based development environment for Ubicom's SX series of microcontrollers, consisting of a
driver for Parallax's SX-Blitz programmer (available for Linux and PalmOS) and an assembler based on the Parallax mnemonics, written in Python (and in theory portable anywhere Python is available).
- Cubical Go is Go (also called Baduk or Weich'i) mapped onto the surface of a cube. There are physical and electronic editions in the works.
- My homebrew chording keyboard was pretty successful, although I lost the microcode in the drive crash.
- Among my various electronic art projects is the infamous Stock-ticker Electric Banana.
- Another Go-related project is the Electric Eye Kifu.
- Although it's showing its age, some people still think that the
Bad News Arcana
is pretty funny.
- I was in Texas recently for Kai's birthday pig roast. Among other things, I built a gigantic paper-mache pig head while I was there. I lost my pictures with the drive, but I know Kai has a bunch of photos around there somewhere.
